Iberia Express Flight I2-3645 , Airbus A320 , registration EC-FGV from Frankfurt to Madrid after took off and while was climbing the left hand engine took fire.The crew shut down the engine and activated the fire suppression system.Airplane declared an emergency and landed safely back to Frankfurt with the fire already extinguished.

Eyewitness from ground they reported that they saw flames from engine also they heard loud bangs

 

Airport also confirmed the incident
