First Air Flight FAB-5300 , Boeing 737-200 registration C-FNVT from Winnipeg to Rankin took off from Winnipeq and was climbing when the crew reported a generator failure but elected to continue flight.25nm north of Winnipeg the pilot requested to divert back to Winniped without to declare an emergency.Airplane landed safely
