American Airlines flight AA-2282 , Boeing 757-200 from Trinidad to Miami with 175 people on board it was en route at cruising altitude FL360 near Turks and Caicos islands when airplane suffered an engine problem.The crew declared an emergency and diverted to Turks and Caicos islands international airport for a safe landing

Airport sources reported that the crew reported that engine was smoking together with fuel leaking.

 

Airline reported that the emergency landing caused by a mechanical issue related to one of engines and also an indication of low oil
