Qantas flight 460 , severe turbulence injures 2

Qantas flight QF-460 , Boeing 767-300 registration VH-OGU from Melbourne to Sydney with 179 passengers it was approaching Sydney airport runway 34L and it was at 3000 feet when airplane encountered severe turbulence.The crew went around first at 5000 feet and after 8000 feet and decided to divert to Newcastle for a safe landing on runway 12 after about 90 mins.Two passengers injured by loose objects that was flying inside cabin during the turbulence.Passengers were taken to hospital

 

At the time of turbulence it was strong crosswinds around 20 Knts
