British Airways flight BA-173 , Boeing 777-200 registration G-VIIS from London Heathrow to New York JFK it was en route at FL380 over atlantic ocean about half way when the crew reported a smell of smoke inside cabin.The crew declared an emergency and decided to divert to Shannon.Airplane turned back and landed safely at Shannon airport
