Nepal Airlines DHC-6 Twinn Otter Registration 9N-ABO from Pokhara to Jomsom with 18 passengers and 3 crew members after landed at Jomsom airport with strong winds veered off the runway and fall down in Kaligandaki river injuring serious all 3 crew members and 3 passengers.Airplane received substantial damage.
On 18 February 2014 the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal released their final report about the accident.You can read full here.
A synopsis about the accident it is:
"the inappropriate conduct of STOL procedure and landing technique carried out by the PIC, during landing phase and an endeavor to carry out take off again with no sufficient airspeed, no required lifting force and non availability of required runway length to roll."
