Bin Air cargo flight, Swearingen SA-227AC Metro III registration D-CAVA from Manston UK to Dublin Ireland with 2 crew members landed at Dublin airport runway 10 at 8.30 local time and was slowing down when nose gear collapsed.Airplane's nose and both propellers contacted the runway.Airplane received substantial damage.Nobody injured

During the landing roll, the landing gear selector was inadvertently moved to the UP position. This mistake was immediately recognized and the selector was returned to the DOWN position but the nose-wheel, which had started to retract, continued retracting, resulting in substantial damage to the aircraft.

Probable cause:
1. Inadvertent selection of the landing gear selector to the UP position during the landing roll.
Contributory Causes
1. Reduced task focus by the PF following a tense and stressful limits approach.
2. Inactive landing gear interlock protection system due to the aircraft speed.
