Trip linhas aereas  ATR-72-500 registration PP-PTU, with 62 people on board it was en route at cruising altitude near Salvador when airplane began strong vibrations on both engines.The crew decided to cut off both engines for regain control and after restarted they returned to normal operation.After that the crew declared an emergency and diverted to Salvador airport for a safe landing
