American Airlines Flight 2096 , McDonnell Douglas MD-82 registration N478AA from Dallas Fort Worth airport to Baltimore/Washington international airport it was departing Dallas Fort Worth airport when the airplane struck a bird on engine number 1.The crew declared an emergency and diverted back to Dallas for a safe landing.
