Air Canada flight 124 , engine problem

Air Canada flight ACA-124 , Embraer E190 registration C-FHNV from Calgary to Toronto it was approaching Toronto airport when the airplane suffered an engine failure.The crew declared an emergency and continued their approach for a safe landing on runway 24R

On 11 October 2013 the Canadian TSB reported that maintenance determined an internal fault with the #2 FADEC and replaced it IAW 73-21-01. The #2 engine was serviceable and the aircraft was returned to service after the FADEC replacement.
