Air Canada flight ACA-183 , Airbus A320 from Montreal to Vancouver took off from Montreal and was climbing through 13000 feet when the crew reported engine problems and was asking to return to Montreal airport without to declared an emergency.Airplane it was on final approach on runway 06L when the crew reported that they loose one engine and was declaring an emergency.Airplane landed safely
On 22 October 2013 the Canadian TSB that Air Canada A320 registration C-FLSS was in climb to cruise level when the crew noted an engine control problem. The crew reported to have #2 engine (CFM International CFM56 series) thrust lever disagree light. They requested return to CYUL. On final to CYUL, the crew noted a #2 engine (CFM56-5A1) power roll back to flight Idle. They declared an emergency. The aircraft landed without further incident. Maintenance replaced the #2 engine alternator stator because of oil leak contaminating the electrical Cannon plug connector. The aircraft was tested and returned to service.
