CSA Czech Airlines flight OK-787 , ATR-72 registration OK-YFT from Budapest to Prague with 33 passengers and 4 crew members  on board took off from Budapest airport runway 31L and was in the initial climb when airplane's left engine took fire.The crew shut down the engine activated the fire extinguisher and declared an emergency reporting the problem and also smoke inside airplane.Airplane vectored for a short final visual approach back to airport and landed safely on runway 31R

 

On 8 October 2013 the French BEA reported in their weekly bulletin the following:

" After departure the crew felt smoke and smell in the cockpit coming from Eng1. Engine fire 

indication appeared, eng1 low oil pressure indicated, eng 1 stall. Crew shut down the engine and jammed, turned back to departure airport (LHBP) declaring Mayday @ 0810 TU. After landing, investigators found a broken turbine vanes. "
