American Airlines flight AA-289 , Boeing 777-200 from Chicago O'Hare International airport to Shanghai with 237 passengers and 15 crew members took off from Chicago airport and was in the initial climb when airplane encountered a flock of birds.The crew stopped the climb fearing that maybe the birds damaged the fuselage or some engine declared an emergency and diverted back to Chicago for a safe landing.
Airline reported that the emergency it was as a precaution
