El Al flight LY-82 , Boeing 767-300 registration 4X-EAR from Bangkok Thailand to Tel Aviv Israel with 218 passengers and 12 crew members it was en route at cruising altitude and near Asmara Eritrea when one from two engines suffered a problem and had to shut down.The crew declared an emergency and diverted to Asmara international airport for a safe landing
