Delta flight DL-1841 , McDonnell Douglas MD-88 from Syracuse to Atlanta with 121 passengers took off from Syracuse airport and was climbing through 15000 feet when the crew reported smoke inside cabin on the galley.The crew diverted back to Syracuse airport for a safe landing.After checks they found that a coffee pot caused a small electric fire which extinguished very fast.
Airline reported that it was a smoky odor on the galley the reason of diversion
