Central American Airways Flight CAI-731 , LET L-410 registration HR-AUQ from San Pedro Sula to Tegucigalpa Honduaras with 12 passengers and 2 crew members on board it was approaching Toncontin international airport runway 02 at 8.04 local time when airplane impacted trees and after ground around 7nm from airport.Everybody killed
At the time of accident it was fog in the area.Also area elevetion it is 5412 feet
One year after the Honduras' Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil released the final report about the accident.You can read here in spanish
Probable causes were the weather in area with reduced visibility and low clouds with strong winds.Also the crew didn't follow the proper instrument approach procedures
Airplane had gone around before while was approaching runway 20 because they couldn't see runway
They released also one photo below that you can see that captain's altimeter and F/O are showing different altitude
Airplane it was configured for landing too early , something that reducing the handling capability of airplane
