Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation - CAA , Fokker 50 registration 9Q-CBD from Lodja to Goma Congo with 5 crew members , 3 passengers and cargo it was approaching Lodja airport, runway 36 under bad weather conditions when the airplane crashed into a building around 1 km short of runway.All 5 crew members killed the 3 passengers survived with serious injuries
On 4 March 2013 Minister of Transport of Congo reported 9 people were on board , 5 crew members , 3 passengers and 1 transporter.The 3 passengers survived the accident , the crew members died and the transporter are still missing.Airplane crashed hitting buildings on ground and came to a rest in a open area probably due to heavy rain and storm.Nobody in ground injured
On 5 March 2013 Minister of Transport of Congo reported that airplane it was on final approach for runway 36 when encountered a severe thunderstorm with crosswinds and visibility probably reduced to minimum.Airplane crashed into the building of National independent electoral commission
The airplane c/n 20270 moved for storage on 26-19-2009 and on 15-3-2010 moved to Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation - CAA with registration 9Q-CBD for continue flying

The airplane it was on final approach to runway 36 arround 1km far from airport when probably due to thunderstorm and crosswinds came down
Airport it is equipped only with VOR and NDB approach which means that the crew had only lateral guidance
