Perimeter Aviation flight PAG-640 , de Havilland DHC-8-100 from Island Lake to Winnipeg Canada it was approaching Winnipeg airport when the airplane suffered an engine problem and had to shut down.The crew declared an emergency and continued for a safe landing at Winnipeg airport
On 28 November 2013 the Canadian TSB reported that C-GWPS, a DHC-8-100 operating as PAG640, was cruising en route about 50 nm north of Winnipeg, MB when the crew observed the #2 engine (PW100) oil pressure warning light illuminate and the oil pressure gauge indicating approximately 45 psi. QRH items were carried out and the crew feathered the #2 propellor. The crew declared an emergency and continued to CYWG where the flight landed without further incident with ARFF standing by. Subsequent inspection revealed a #2 engine oil cooler leak. The #2 engine oil cooler was replaced (as per AMM 79-20-00) and the aircraft was returned to service.
