American Eagle flight MQ-3632 , Bombardier CRJ-700 registration N511AE from New York LaGuardia to Toronto it was approaching Toronto Pearson's airport when the crew reported a smell of smoke and also spoilers problem.The crew declared an emergency continued their approach and landed safely on runway 24L

 

On 30 October 2013 the Canadian TSB reported that on descent the crew received IB SPLRS and IB SPOILERONS caution messages. The crew declared an emergency and landed without incident. ARFF was on standby. Maintenance bled the hydraulic system and performed a function check. Aircraft was found serviceable.
