Turkish airlines flight TK-7 , Airbus A340 registration TC-JDL from Istanbul to Washington with 220 passengers on board took off from Istanbul airport and struck a flock of birds.The crew stopped the climb at 8400 feet advised the tower and after entered a hold at 7400 feet over black sea for dump fuel diverted back to Istanbul airport for a safe landing about 2 hours after departure
